GRAPHIC DESIGNER &
STUDIO COLLABORATOR

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
ILLUSTRATOR

I’m a UK-based artist and creative director, working across graphic design, illustration and brand design.

Represented by MUSE Creative Studio, I contribute to selected projects while supporting the platform through creative initiatives, events, and its ongoing development.

My practice spans print, mixed media, drawing and painting, often centred around an ongoing exploration of the human figure and attitude. More recently, my work has evolved into imagined landscapes, shaped by observations of everyday life and travel.

My work has been applied across the wine industry, as well as advertising, editorial, packaging and design.

I’m interested in creating simple yet expressive narratives, with a clean, considered and elegant aesthetic.

BEHIND THE VISION. MY STORY…

A Parisian at heart, I am an artistic director with roots in illustration and graphic design, living and working in Brighton since 2006. Between France and England, my practice has been shaped by a love of elegance, narrative, and cultural exchange, blending Parisian sensibility with an enduring affection for British creativity.

I create images that speak quietly but linger — visual worlds where symbolism, poetry, and storytelling come together to captivate audiences and reveal the soul of a brand. My work seeks meaning beyond aesthetics, transforming ideas into refined, emotive visuals that invite contemplation and connection.

I have collaborated with music festivals such as the Festival Chopin à Paris and the Festival de musique international de Dinard, as well as wineries and established brands including Waitrose. Across each project, my aim is the same: to paint brands through imagery that tells stories, evokes emotion, and endures.

CHARLOTTE,

THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK

How would you describe
your creative approach?

A person is using a printing press to create a yellow woodblock print, with the text being transferred onto paper.

I bring a strong visual sensitivity and a very intuitive way of working. I’m drawn to projects that carry a real story and emotion, especially with small creative businesses where passion is truly contagious.

What kind of projects inspire you the most?

I love working with brands that have a genuine story behind them. It pushes me to create something thoughtful, personal, and expressive, always staying true to who they are.

What is MUSE in your own words?

MUSE feels like a meeting point between cultures, ideas, and different perspectives. It’s rooted in French elegance and understatement, but also shaped by British boldness, edginess, and coolness.

What makes MUSE unique?

It’s the mix of influences and the creative exchange between us. We constantly share ideas, learn from each other, and that dynamic makes everything feel more alive.

What role does
collaboration play in your work?

Being surrounded by people like Clementine, Milene, and Sarah allows for constant dialogue. We inspire each other, challenge ideas, and bring more depth to the creative process

What influences your creative process?

A big part of my process is about simplifying things, almost like children do. There’s a raw instinctiveness in children’s drawings that feels direct and powerful. I try to capture that simplicity to create images with a strong, immediate impact.

What materials or techniques
do you enjoy working with?

I love working with textures—printing, painting, drawing, and hands-on techniques. I then bring them into digital work so it still feels gestural and human, not too perfect or flat.

How would you describe your visual style?

I aim for visuals that feel considered, expressive, and slightly unexpected, while always remaining authentic and intentional.
